IFR Pattern

As a pilot you will most often use the autopilot for all of your IFR procedures. But you will also have to be sufficient at flying all of those procedures without the autopilot. The reason for this is safety, of course. Below is an illustration on a IFR practice pattern. The idea behind it is that you should be able to fly the entire pattern, not using the autopilot, this does take some practice though. The first times you will be quite crappy at it, but with practice you will get better. Good luck!
