What is required to become a Cyber Air Pilot?

  • You must have a valid internet e-mail address and have a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002/2004 installed. If you don't have flight simulator, you can purchase it at any leading computer store or online store.
  • You should be able to install related flight simulator software and programs offered by Cyber Air and affiliates. If you need help installing software you may seek assistance in our forums.
  • You should be able to fly (takeoff, navigate, and land) in flight simulator. If you are not able to, we recommend that you read the tutorials which are located within the flight simulator program or read the navigation, landing, and takeoff pages in your flight simulator manual.
  • You should familiarize yourself with Cyber Air operations.
  • Click Cyber Air OPS Manual to view the operations manual.
  • There are no minimums for the amount of hours a pilot puts in, but we do ask that you complete at least one round trip flight per month.
  • File flight reports(PIREP) for the flights you complete. (You must file AT LEAST ONE flight report each month to stay active as a pilot for us, however, you are more than welcome to fly more flights if you choose to do so).
  • Although its' use is not required, VATSIM, HOVERCONTROL are highly encouraged and used at Cyber Air for online flying. If you are not familiar with VATSIM or HOVERCONTROL, please take the time to visit each network to get information on registration, network rules and documention.
  • Fill out the Pilot Application. During sign-up you will be given two choices of a hub assignment. Every effort will be made to place you in the hub of your choice. Pilots may also request a hub change at any time during their career. Review Hubs
  • Most importantly, you should have fun!
If you meet all the above requirements and ready to join our family for a fun and exciting virtual career. Fill out the Pilot Application
